Yeah, I should have toned down that yellow, but that was what they sent me to use so I didn't want to mess with it. It was a required element of the contest! Maybe I could have used a better blue to contrast... oh well!
I can definitely see why it won. You use a lot of creative touches to touch on the film's characters and setting, and the composition is elegant and effective while retaining that peculiar off-kilter look Wes Anderson so favors; the colors are especially good in this regard.
